Kochi Airport Seized Gold: உடலில் மறைத்து கேப்ஸுல்களில் எடுத்து வரப்பட்ட தங்கங்கள் பறிமுதல் - கொச்சி விமான நிலைய அதிகாரிகள் நடவடிக்கை.!
விமானவழி தங்கக்கடத்தலுக்கு பெயர்போன கேரளாவில் சுங்கத்துறையினர் தொடர்ந்து திருட்டு வழிகளில் கொண்டு வரப்படும் தங்கத்தை பறிமுதல் செய்து வருகின்றனர்.
பிப்ரவரி 15, கொச்சி விமான நிலையம்: கேரளா மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள விமான நிலையங்கள் (Kerala Airports) வாயிலாக தங்கம் கடத்தப்படுவது பல ஆண்டுகளாக தொடர்ந்து நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இந்தியாவையே உலுக்கிய ஸ்வப்னா சுரேஷ் (Swapna Suresh Gold Smuggling Case) தங்கக்கடத்தல் விவகாரத்தில் அதிரடி திருப்பங்களும் நடைபெற்றன. இந்த நிலையில், கேரளாவில் உள்ள கொச்சி (Kochi International Airport) சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தில், அபுதாபியில் (Abu Dhabi) இருந்து தாயகம் வந்த ரியாஸ் என்ற வாலிபர் தங்கம் (Gold Smuggling) கடத்தி சிக்கிக்கொண்டார். இவரிடம் இருந்து 3 கேப்ஸுல்களில் (Gold Smuggled by Capsules inside Body) 857 கிராம் அளவிலான தங்கம் மீட்கப்பட்டது. அதன் சந்தை மதிப்பு ரூ.43.97 இலட்சங்கள் ஆகும். இவர் காசர்கோடு (Kasaragod) பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் ஆவார்.
