பிப்ரவரி 13, நாகோன்: அசாம் மாநிலத்தில் அமல்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள பசுவதை (Assam Cow Slaughter Act) தடைச்சட்டத்தின் காரணமாக, போக்குவரத்துகள் உதவியுடன் பிற மாநிலத்தில் இருந்து பசுக்கள் மாநிலத்திற்குள் இறைச்சிக்காக கொண்டு வர தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த நிலையில், அசாம் (Assam) மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள நாகோன் (Nagaon) மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள போர்காட் பகுதியில் காவல் துறையினர் வாகன தணிக்கையில் ஈடுபட்டு கொண்டு இருந்தனர். அப்போது, அவ்வழியே சென்ற லாரியை சோதனை செய்தபோது, அதில் 24 கால்நடைகள் அடைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டு கடத்துவது உறுதியானது. லாரியில் வந்த சஹாஜூல் ஷாக் (Sahajul Hoque), ஆகாஷ் அலி (Akash Ali) ஆகியோரை கைது செய்த காவல் துறையினர் தொடர் விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
