ஜூலை 31 (New Delhi): பசுக்கள் மற்றும் அதன் சந்ததிகளை வெட்டுவதற்கு முழுமையான தடையை அமல்படுத்துமாறு மத்திய அரசுக்கு உத்தரவிட டெல்லி உயர்நீதிமன்றம் (Delhi High Court) மறுத்துவிட்டது. பழைய மற்றும் பயனற்ற பசுக்கள், அவற்றின் சந்ததிகளை பாதுகாக்க, உயிர்பலியை தடுக்க பசுவதை தடை சட்டத்தை இந்தியா முழுவதுமாகத் அமல்படுத்தக்கோரி பிரிஷ்பன் வர்மா என்பவர் பொது நல வழக்கு தாக்கல் செய்தார். இந்த வழக்கை விசாரணை செய்த டெல்லி உயர்நீதிமன்ற அமர்வு, வயதான மற்றும் உரிமையாளரால் விருப்பப்பட்டு விற்பனை செய்யப்படும் பசுக்களை வெட்டுவதற்கு தடை விதிக்க வலியுறுத்தி மத்திய அரசை உத்தரவிட இயலாது என தீர்ப்பளித்தது.
