மெட்ரோ இரயில் கட்டுமான பணிகளின் போது, நிலத்திற்கடியில் இருந்து திடீரென சகதிகள் வெளியேற தொடங்கியதால் மக்கள் பெரும் அச்சத்திற்கு உள்ளாகியுள்ளனர். இதுகுறித்து அதிகாரிகள் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.
பிப்ரவரி 16, சூரத்: குஜராத் (Gujarat) மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள சூரத்தில் (Surat) மெட்ரோ இரயில் (Surat Metro Train Construction) பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. இதற்காக மெட்ரோ இரயில் சேவையை வழங்கும் நிறுவனம் பல இடங்களில் பாலங்கள் வழியாகவும், சில இடங்களில் தரைக்கடியில் மெட்ரோ இரயில் (Sub Way Line) பாதையை அமைக்கும் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறது. இந்த நிலையில், சூரத்தில் உள்ள வராசா, விட்டல் நகர் (Vitthal Nagar, Varachha, Surat) பகுதியில் மெட்ரோ இரயில் பாதை நிலத்துக்கடியில் அமைக்கும் பணியானது நடைபெறுகிறது. இதற்கிடையில், அங்குள்ள பல இடங்களில் பூமிக்கடியில் இருந்து சகதி (Mud Out From Land & Drain Lines) கொந்தளித்து வெளியே வருகிறது. இதனால் உள்ளூர் மக்கள் பெரும் அச்சத்திற்கு உள்ளாகியுள்ளனர்.
