தனது கூட்டாளிகளுடன் காரில் பயணித்த ரௌடியை இடைமறித்த காவல் துறையினர், குழுவாக ரௌடி கும்பலை கைது செய்ய முயன்றபோது நடந்த துப்பாக்கிசூட்டில் முக்கிய குற்றவாளி கொல்லப்பட்டார்.
டிசம்பர் 14, லூதியானா (Ludhiana): பஞ்சாப் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள லூதியானா மாவட்டம் மற்றும் சுற்றுவட்டாரங்களில் பல்வேறு கொலை, கொள்ளை உட்பட 18 வழக்குகளில் தொடர்புடைய ரௌடி சுக்தேவ் சிங் என்ற விக்கி. இவரின் ஆதரவாளர்கள் குழுவுடன் சம்பவத்தன்று கோஹர மச்சிவாரா பகுதியில் பயணித்தபோது, காவல் துறையினர் நடத்திய என்கவுண்டரில் விக்கி கொல்லப்பட்டார். அவருடன் வந்த கூட்டாளிகள் ஆர்யன் சிங் என்ற ராஜா, சுனில் குமார், பல்விந்தர் என்ற பாபி ஆகியோர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டனர். இவர்களை கைது செய்ய முற்பட்டபோது, அதிகாரிகள் மீது தாக்குதல் நடத்தி தப்பிச்செல்ல முற்பட்டதை தொடர்ந்து நடந்த என்கவுண்டரில் விக்கி கொல்லப்பட்டுள்ளார். காயமடைந்த காவலர் மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகிறார்.
