பிப்ரவரி 16: கர்நாடக மாநில பாஜக தலைவர் நளின் குமார் (Nalin Kateel) கட்டீல் கடந்த 14ம் தேதி பொதுக்கூட்டத்தில் பேசுகையில், நாங்கள் இராமர், ஹனுமான் (Sri Rama, Hanuman Devottes) பக்தர்கள். திப்புவின் (Tipu Sultan) தோன்றல்கள் இல்லை. அவர்களுக்கு இங்கு இடமில்லை. நாங்கள் திப்புவின் வழித்தோன்றலை திருப்பி அனுப்புவோம். அவர்களுக்கு இங்கு இடமில்லை" என சர்ச்சையான வகையில் பேசினார். இதற்கு பதிலளித்துள்ள அகில இந்திய மஜ்லிஸ்-இ-இத்தேஹாதுல் முஸ்லிமீன் (AIMIM MP Owaisi) நிறுவன தலைவர் அசாதுதீன் ஓவைஸி (Asaduddin Owaisi), "கர்நாடக மாநில பாஜக தலைவரின் கூற்றுகளை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி (Narendra Modi) ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறாரா?. நான் திப்பு சுல்தானின் பெயரை கூறுகிறேன். அவர்கள் என்ன சொல்கிறார்கள் என பார்க்கலாம். அவர்களின் பேச்சுக்களை கொலை, இனப்படுகொலைக்கான அழைப்பாக நான் கருதுகிறேன்" என கண்டனம் தெரிவித்தார்.
